After the failure of its announcement in Cairo.. Preparations for a southern coalition supporting Hadi in Aden

A coalition of southern leaders supporting President Hadi will hold a ceremony in Aden, the interim capital of southern Yemen, in the coming days, a source close to the Southern National Coalition Command told Al-Masdar online.

The source said that the southern leaders who contributed to the formation of the coalition would soon go to Aden but did not set the date for the ceremony, and said that southern leaders holding positions in the Yemeni government will not be able to attend the announcement event because they cannot reach Aden as a result of the strained relationship between them and Allies of the United Arab Emirates, who have military and security control of the situation in Aden.

The coalition includes supporters of President Hadi and influential in the southern movement, notably Ali Haitham al-Ghareeb, Minister of Justice, as well as Minister of Youth and Sports Naief al-Bakri, former leader in the resistance against Houthi militants during their invasion of Aden, and Ahmed Al-Eissi businessman and the head of  Yemeni football federation.

The coalition failed to hold a ceremony in Cairo, Egypt, earlier this month, because the organizers did not obtain a permit from the Egyptian authorities.
