Head of government: Al-Houthi's participation in Sweden's consultations was to rearrange their ranks in Hodeidah


Prime Minister aeenl Malik said on Tuesday that the Houthis ' participation in the Swedish consultation was to rearrange their ranks in the western city of Hodeidah and to stop the government's military operation to control the city.

This came in his meeting with UN humanitarian coordinator for Yemen Lisa Grande, according to the state news agency “Saba ".

"If Houthis do not deterred by serious international and regional position, they will continue their reckless and irresponsible practices, neglecting the humanitarian crisis created by their coup against the state," he said.

He pointed to the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Houthi-held areas and difficulty of people access to the relief and medical assistances in affected areas over the war imposed by Houthi militia and their continuous looting aid and referring them to their war effort.

He added that the government paid salaries of government's employees in Hodeida and currently salaries of health sector employees in Houthi held-areas.
