Three women killed and two men injured by Houthi shelling on a residential neighbourhood south of Hodeidah


Three women were killed and two men injured when a shell landed in al-Rabsa neighbourhood south of the coastal city of Hodeidah (western Yemen) on Wednesday morning.

Three women were killed and two wounded when a shell landed on the densely populated neighbourhood near the al-Najah school in Al-Rabsa neighbourhood on Saturday morning, as Al-Masdar online correspondent said.

The source received the names of the women killed by the fall of the projectile and they are  "Saida Sayed Taha Ghalib 25 years, Samah Fatini Bobal 24 years, Mona Hassan Abdo 27 years".

Al-Rabsa district is frequently subjected to the fall of Houthi projectiles fired by militias based inside the city on the coalition's joint forces and the legitimate government, which is stationed near the neighbourhood.

Earlier, a citizen was killed with a bullet during the clashes that took place on the airport road south of Hodeidah on Thursday night and a child was shot in the Al-Howk neighbourhood by a returning bullet.
