Al-Houthi militias kidnap lawyer Abdulrahman Kudaish

Al-Houthi militia abducted the lawyer Abdul Rahman Kudaish after he was taken to a street around Hodeidah about a week ago.

A source told Al-Masdar online that the family of lawyer Kudaish has postponed the news of his abduction in an attempt to leave room for friendly endeavours to release him.

The source, who is close to the family, said that Kudaish received a call from al-Houthi supervisor Abu Ali al-Khawlani to meet him at Jamal Street in the city on Tuesday before the past to be kidnapped and placed in the political security prison under the control of the group.

Al-Houthi militias accuse Kudaish of communicating with a coalition cell in the city of Abbs in Hajjah Governorate.

The Yemeni Bar Association, through a statement published in one of its Facebook accounts, demanded the swift release of Kudaish and the referral of Abu Ali al-Khawlani for questioning for kidnapping and seizure of the Kudaish freedom.

Since its takeover of the capital Sana'a in late 2014, Houthi militias have arrested dozens of hundreds of jurists, activists, journalists and media workers who did not support them on charges of working for the coalition countries.
