Killed and wounded in armed clashes inside a market eastern Lahj


Eyewitnesses and locals in the southern province of Lahj told Al-Masdar online that several people were killed and dozens of wounded in armed clashes between unidentified gunmen on Monday evening in al-Fayush  eastern of the province

Two armed groups, unknown to any security forces or local armed factions, were clashing by light and medium weapons amid the Qat market in the region, which resulted in the death and injury of many people, without mentioning a specific number.

The two armed groups clashed with light and medium weapons, while there were many civilians who came from the outskirts of the Al-Fayush region to buy Qat, some of them were injured by armed clashes, as local source told al-Masdar online.

According to the source, Rami al-Sumati, a "commander in the second brigade of Giants who is stationed to fight the Houthis in the West Coast", was injured in the clashes, where he was present in the market at the moment of confrontations.
