Presidential advisor warns of international conspiracy to split Hodeidah and transfer battles to the south of the country

Yassin Makkawi, advisor to the Yemeni president, warned of what he termed an international conspiracy to impose the de facto authority, dividing Hodeidah province into three parts, and transferring the battle to liberated areas in the south of the country.

Saudi Arabia's Okaz newspaper quoted Makkawi as saying that the planned division of Hodeidah ensures that the city and ports are subject to what they described as the "United Nations system of corruption", the north-western areas of the Houthi militia and the south-west are subject to legitimacy away from the restoration of the State and the implementation of resolution 2216 Even the Stockholm agreement.

He added that the plan will be implemented under pressure to divert military operations to the south of the country through the policy of "bone fracture", expressing doubts about the nature of the cessation of military operations in a number of seam zones, especially Hodeidah, which was around the corner of the liberation and became the subject of discussion under the supervision of the United Nations envoy Martin Griffith  and his skills in the development of vague plans leading to the handover of the city to the putschists.

The attempts to infiltrate the Houthi militias to confuse the resistance and the army in the province of al-Dali, Yafe’a and Musaimir in Lahj province and others comes within the process of investing in the internal plight in Taiz and chaos in Aden, demanding legitimacy and the Arab coalition to feel the seriousness of the matter and its repercussions on the protection of Arab national security, which has been threatened by the Iranian incursion under the pressure of legality.

He called on the legitimacy and the coalition to re-examine the political and military landscape and develop a common strategy to emerge from the spiral of tactics leading to disintegration so that we can all re-establish conditions that are dangerous not only for our country but also for the nation.
