The second in a week. Gunmen assassinate leader of Southern movement faction in Aden

Late Monday evening, unidentified gunmen assassinated a southern movement leader on the 90th Street in the interim capital of Aden.

Eyewitnesses said that unidentified gunmen aboard a motorcycle shot at the leader of the Supreme Council of Revolutionary movement Abdullah Hussain al-Quhaim near his headquarters at a travel agency in the 90th Street in Mansoura district and then fled to an unknown destination.

Al-Quhaim is one of the leaders of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary movement, one of the entities of the Southern Movement, which was launched in 2007. The Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement has mourned one of its field commanders, Rami Mohammed al-Mas’abi, who was assassinated by unidentified gunmen five days ago in the Kaltex tour of Mansoura.

The Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement is one of the Southern components of opposition to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, where the Supreme Council apologized for attending the South Transitional Council's southern dialogue event last week.
