Southern Movement leader says he has received death threats from figures in the Southern Transitional Council

Southern Movement leader Mohammed Qasim al- Jawfi said he had received a death threat from figures from the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (NTC).

Al- Jawfi published a communication that included what he said were threats of physical liquidation against the leaders and supporters of the Southern Transitional Council, but Al-Jawfi, who did not specify the personalities who threatened to kill him, said that many of the supporters counted on the NTC are playing an inflammatory role between Southerners in the sites of  Social networking.

Al- Jawfi attached the communiqué with  appeals to President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, the interior minister and Security commanders and the Transitional Council to move to protect him from any possible targeting of him or any person of his family.

The seriousness of the threats came after two assassinations in less than a week of leaders in the southern movement in disagreement with the southern transition, blamed by the rest of the movement, that it seeks to silence any voices that differ.
