President Hadi suspends Brigadier General Khosrov and refers him to investigation upon his statements


On Thursday, President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi suspended the director of the Yemeni army's moral guidance department, Maj. Gen. Mohsen Khosrov, from his job and referred him to interrogation.

The suspension comes on the back of statements made by General Khosrov to Yemen's official satellite channel, in which he said that the coalition did not provide sufficient support to the Yemeni army to achieve victory in the battle against the Houthi militias.

The Yemeni news agency Saba justified the suspension as "the result of violations of professional rules and regulations."

The agency quoted a defense ministry source as saying that "military leaders must be held accountable in this critical situation in Yemen and be more disciplined, fair, more distinguished and focused on carrying out their terms of reference." He expressed appreciation for the Saudi-led Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy and their continued support for legitimacy across various fields and achieved great victories throughout Yemen, According to the agency.
