4 soldiers injured during clashes with tribal gunmen northeast of Marib

Four soldiers were injured Tuesday as the army tried to raise a tribal blockade near Safar oil fields in northeastern Marib province.

A military source told Al-Masdar online, that a military campaign clashed with gunmen who set up a blockade between the areas of "Wadheeh" and "Al-Makhtam" in northeastern Marib province.

The source added that the clashes resulted in the injury of four members of the military campaign, which returned to its camp in "Safar" after the cessation of clashes without being able to remove the blockade.

The source pointed out that tribal gunmen continue to cut off the international line, with tribal mediation moving to resolve the dispute between the militants and the army.

Gunmen from the Al HOudhaylan Obeida tribe are demanding the recovery of a car seized by the army in the past months loaded with various weapons.
