After the Houthis took control of the company in Sana'a. Sabafon moves its headquarters and operations to Aden


Yemen's mobile phone company Sabafon announced Saturday the transfer of its headquarters and operations to the City of Aden, the interim capital of Yemen.

The company added in a statement received a copy of it by "Al-Masdar Online", that steps and measures are being taken to move the company's headquarters and operations to Aden as soon as possible.

The company invited its employees working at its former headquarters in Sana'a city to implement the council's decision and move on to their duties at the company's new headquarters in Aden.

The company's decision comes after the Houthi group stormed and took over the headquarters of Sabafon company in Sana'a, controlling its administrations and imposing directors on the company's management.

According to the company, the militia also took over and stopped the emails and phones of managers, key employees, shareholders and consultants in the company's various systems.

The company called on all entities and individuals who deal with the company to stop dealing or communicating with email addresses and mobile phone numbers functional to all of the company's principal managers and employees, shareholders and advisors.

The company called on the government, the concerned and the international community to do whatever it takes to reduce and alleviate the suffering of citizens benefiting from telecommunications services as a result of these arbitrary and illegal practices.
