A child killed and another man injured by Houthi shells targeted  their home in Hajjah


A child was killed and a man from one family was injured when a Houthi projectile landed on the family's home in the village of Al-Dair in Hayran district in northern Hajjah, northwest Yemen.

Medical sources said that Mohammed Rashid Yahya Hindi, 50 years old, and his granddaughter Fatima, 11 years old, arrived at the hospital on Saturday, injured by shrapnel in their bodies, as a result of a Katusha-type projectile that landed on their house.

He added that the child died late as a result of a serious head injury, while the citizen is still receiving treatment in a hospital in the south of the kingdom.

From time to time, Houthi militias target residential neighborhoods in Hayran district with various shells, in which dozens of innocent citizens were killed and wounded.
