Houthis bomb government forces positions in Hess and Al-Drihimi, south of Hodeidah


Al-Houthi militias on Friday intensified their artillery shelling on government forces' positions on the outskirts of the southern city of Hees in the western Province of Hodeidah.

Local sources told Al-Masdar Online that Houthi militias intensified their shelling with 120-caliber, 82-caliber mortars and medium-caliber 14.5-caliber machine guns and 12.7 caliber machinguns on government forces positions in The Bani Gari and Haminiya areas on the outskirts of Hees.

On Thursday evening, Houthi militias shelled the heaviest artillery shelling in weeks on government forces positions east of al-Drihimi district in southern Hodeidah province.

In the past two weeks, Houthi militias have intensified their attacks and artillery shelling on various government forces positions, from Hees and Al-khokha to Al-Tahita and Drihimi to the southern and eastern outskirts of Hodeidah.
