Prime Minister arrives and holds a meeting with Shabwa governor in the presence of ministers and military leaders

Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdel Malik held a meeting Sunday evening with the governor of Shabwa province, Mohammed Saleh bin Adyo, in the southeastern city of Ataq, in the presence of ministers, officials and military leaders.

The meeting was held at the governor's house in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Salem al-Khanbashi and ministers, oil and oil, Aws A-‘Oad, Health Nasser Ba'aum, Education Abdullah Lamlas, the local administration Abdul Raqeeb Fath, Chief of Staff Abdullah al-Nakh’ee, and the commander of BayhanAxis, Major General Mufreh Buhaybeh, and Saudi officers.

The prime minister arrived in The City of Ataq from the Saudi capital Riyadh, a source in the local authority in Shabwa told Al-Masdar Online.

According to the source, Abdul Malik was briefed on the latest developments and what has been achieved in the face of the Coup d'état militias of the Transitional Council in and around Ataq.

The source explained that Abdul Malik will chair in the coming hours an expanded meeting of the command of military units and security agencies and the command of the joint forces, and directors of all directorates and service offices, on the instructions of the President of the Republic, to normalize the situation in The Province's Ataq and itsdirectorates, and face Subversive elements and coup d'état backed by the UAE.

The prime minister's visit to Shabwa province comes at a time when government forces have been able to take control of state institutions, headquarters and army camps in Ataq, and repel attempts to storm and control them by UAE-backed forces.
