On Saturday, a force from the Aden Security Department stormed a hotel north of the city and arrested Sheikh Yasser al-Amoudi, director of the “Rasd” Directorate of Abyan province. Southern Yemen.

The source added to "Al-Masdar Online", that a security force surrounded al-Fursan Hotel and stormed the building and arrested Sheikh Al-Amoudi who is staying in the hotel, and took him on board one of its vehicles, without receiving accurate information about the motives behind the arrest.

In addition, UAE-backed security belt forces attacked the home of The Southern Resistance commander in Khormaksar Suleiman al-Zamiki, who was recently appointed commander of the Special Security Forces to succeed General Fadl Ba’esh, who joined the STC, after taking control of the city on August 10th.

According to local residents and eyewitnesses who spoke to Al-Masdar online, the soldiers looted some of the contents of the house and tampered with some items, while Al-Zamiki family was in the house.

Local sources said that a force comprising armored vehicles and vehicles and a large number of soldiers imposed a siege on the house and fired in the vicinity, while residents confirmed the looting of a car and belongings belonging to Al-Zamiki by soldiers of the security belt loyal to the Southern Transitional Council in continuing raids on the homes of security leaders and military opposing the Southern Transitional Council.

Security belt forces expanded their operations in al-Sa’ada neighborhood, where leaders, activists and citizens loyal to the council live, and stormed homes close to Al-Zamiki, including the commander of his bodyguards.

Witnesses in al-Maala district, west of Aden, said that security forces loyal to the Emirate carried out a series of arrests throughout the city of local citizens and activists opposed to the council, in conjunction with other arrests in al-Qallo’ah neighborhood near Al-Mu’alla.

On Friday, security forces loyal to UAE raided the home of Brig. Gen. Amjad Khalid, commander of the Transport Brigade in Dar Saad district, and clashed with the house guard before killing his younger brother Yusuf in his 20s in an incident that sparked public discontent in the southern coastal city.

The raids and arrests led by the security belt come hours after a general amnesty statement was issued by the president of the Southern Transitional Council and resolutions banning the breaking of any homes of anti-council leaders.
