On Wednesday, Houthi militias expanded their shelling on joint forces positions east of the city of Hodeidah and southern Directorate at the southern Yemen.

Field sources told Al-Masdar Online that Houthi militias shelled with mortars and Howitzer on Wednesday, the positions of the joint forces near the city of Al-Saleh and kilo 16 area east of the city of Hodeidah.

At the same time, on Wednesday morning, Houthi militias shelled the positions of the joint forces east of the Al-Drehimi and Al-Tihita directorates south of Hodeidah.

In the past few hours, Houthi militia snipers have also stepped up their targeting of civilian movements in farms and roads east of Hees district, south of Hodeidah.

Houthi militias escalation three days after they agreed to activate the ceasefire mechanism, reduce de-escalation and deploy observers on four fronts south and east of Hodeidah.
