Fires caused by drones attacks at two Aramco positions in Saudi Arabia

Saudi authorities have controlled  a fire at the Aramco plant in the kingdom's city of Bqeeq early Saturday, al-Arabiya TV reported.

A spokesman for the Saudi Interior Ministry said in a statement that attacks by drones on two Aramco plants in Baqiq and Khrais  on Saturday caused fires that were extinguished by the company's security forces.

The statement, published by state media, did not mention the source of the attacks.

The Iranian-backed Houthis launched missile attacks with drones, some of which targeted Aramco earlier last month and caused a fire, and authorities said at the time that it had been brought under control.
