Houthis claim attack on two Aramco sites in eastern Saudi Arabia

The Houthi group announced saturday that the refineries of Baqiq and Khreis, in eastern Saudi Arabia, were targeted by 10 drones.

This came in a statement published by al-Marcha tv channel, which belongs to the Houthis, hours after Saudi Arabia announced the control of two fires in two aramco oil companies, which were targeted by drones, according to the interior ministry's security spokesman.

The source, speaking to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), did not say who carried out the attacks.

The Houthis said the attack was accurate, and came after a thorough intelligence operation, "we called the attack "The Second Deterrence Balance,"" promising more operations.

The Iranian-backed Houthis are carrying out missile attacks and drones targeting interests inside Saudi Arabia, some of which targeted Aramco earlier last month and caused a fire, and authorities said at the time that it had been brought under control.
