Aden.. Members of the security belt raid the house of special forces commander Al-Khader al-Abd and cause material damage

Local residents and eyewitnesses told Al-Masdar Online that gunmen belonging to the UAE-backed security belt forces raided the house of Major Al-Khader al-Abd, commander of the 2nd Battalion of the Special Forces of the Ministry of Interior in al-Mu’alla district in the center of the interim capital Aden in the south country, resulting in material damage to the house.

A local source told Al-Masdar Online that a force from the security belt surrounded the street where the house of Major Al-Khader al-Abd is located in the city of Al- Mu’alla and later clashed with some security personnel before breaking into the house, looting and destroying its contents.

Al-Abed leads the 2nd Battalion of the Special Forces in Aden, which is loyal to the recognized government based in al- Mu’alla district, which is now under the control of forces of the Southern Transitional Council following a similar attack that led to their control of the building and the departure of the site's commander and his personnel.

Following the capture of the southern city of Aden, security forces loyal to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) launched arrest campaigns against the UAE presence, and security forces raided the homes of about 8 military commanders and resistance fighters, causing human and material damage.
